The Wavellite Wanderer Spinning Wheel Line

Every time I make a prototype wheel, I find something small I can improve on. The angle on the heal of the wheel-base allows the bobbin to rotate smoothly and makes it possible to easily ply off of even the big 16oz bobbins.

I call it "The Wavellite Wanderer Spinning Wheel Line" with the idea that it travels easier than most. So not only is the lazy kate built in for easy plying, but the rods can be easily stored on the wheel while the lazy kate feature is not in active use. 

One of the first features, I knew I needed to use these coil yarn guides in the design of these wheels. They allow you to remove yarn from the flyer and wheel without having to break or cut it. For example, if you are plying and need to switch temporarily to a different spin, you don't have to break a continuous ply. Great for large volume spinners wanting to take advantage of the 16oz bobbins.
